So, once I got caught up on Pendant stuff (as in, when I was done with Superman 56, since that’s my last episode), I was going to start work on a NEW show for Pendant. There was some discussion about whether it would be an original show or a ‘fan’ (i.e. copyrighted, or in this case trademarked) show. Thanks to the help of a copyright lawyer I know, we contacted the trademark holder, and after discussion, it turns out that they were not willing to allow us to use the trademark. Which would result in a likely takedown notice upon the release of the first episode. So, it’s a no-go.
